TERMS, CONDITIONS & THINGS TO NOTE WHEN ORDERING FIREWOOD
HEALTH & SAFETY: Due to our health & safety policy we are not allowing self pick-ups from the main part of our yard. Alternatively we can arrange for you to pick up wood from our front gate if requested.
We reserve the right to unload any order of firewood where we identify as safe in any situation that we deem to be or consider a hazard, dangerous or unreasonable where our staff or equipment could be at risk of being injured or damaged.
OUR WOOD: Due to being unable to store our wood under cover we can not guarantee that every piece of split wood delivered is going to be dry. We use tarpaulins to cover our piles when days of rain are forecast but they do not provide 100% cover. Pieces on the ground continue to be harder to dry during this weather period. A loader is used to fill our delivery vehicles that could result in a wet bit of wood in your order although we do our best to avoid this. We do not have time to hand load the trucks. We rotate our wood piles to move wood from the bottom to the top which helps with air circulation and drying.
Our wood is sold each year to be used from the 21st of June which is the the first official day of Winter. If you have purchased wood & attempt to burn it before this date e.g during Spring/Summer or Autumn while the wood is still seasoning or coming towards the end of its seasoning we will not take any responsibility or liability for it not burning on any given day outside of the official Winter season unless it has seasoned with the customer for more than 12 Months.
REFUND POLICY: Any order placed is non-refundable.
PAYMENT: All deliveries are to be paid upfront & cleared via bank transfer, credit card or cash payment before any & all wood is delivered.
